Chauffeur

Valkyrie Chauffeurs Ltd is a family run Private Hire Operator based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. We have over 10 years trading experience in delivering high end luxury chauffeur travel to our valued customers located within Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and beyond.

This is a position for a driver only, no vehicle is required to be suitable for the role.

**Role Attributes**:

- Permanent 'Variable Hours' Contract within minimum of 30 hours per week
- +6 years driving experience

**Legal requirements for the role**:

- Hold a Valid UK Full Driving Licence (clean or with no more than 3 points)
- Hold a Private Hire Driving Licence with Tewkesbury Borough Council (or obtain one)
- Undertake a Group 2 medical assessment
- Attend a Safeguarding Course
- Enhanced DBS background check

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Drive luxury Saloon and Executive MPV as and when required (day/night, social & unsociable hours)
- Driving long hours, sometimes with extended waiting periods.
- Maintain Private Hire Drivers Licence and conform to Tewkesbury Council policy requirements
- Display excellent driving skills in all weather conditions
- Be self motivated, adaptive to route planning and potential itinerary amendments made by customers
- Competent with use of technology for flight tracking and navigation apps
- Ability to follow instructions and take direction
- Be flexible and able to adapt to multiple situations
- Display excellent personal management skills
- Dedicated, discreet and punctual
- Assist clients with loading and unloading their belongings as needed (including heavy luggage)
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times
- Understand and adapt communication effectively with customer to ensure a positive and comfortable experience
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

**Preferred Skills**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a chauffeur or professional driver
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner
- Ex-Military or Emergency Service personnel welcome

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.50 per hour
