We are recruiting for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our Global Trading client based on the outskirts of London. Our client is offering hybrid working and an opportunity to be apart of a growing team who encourage ideas and initiatives.

The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for the management and execution of overall credit analysis, reporting and maintenance of relevant records and databases. Providing support to both Finance / Treasury operations as noted below.

Some of the key duties will include:

- Daily credit analysis, monitoring and preparation of annual credit reviews
- Track credit exposures, conduct risk analysis on both a pre
- and post-deal basis, including but not limited to, potential future exposure (PFE), portfolio analytics, expected credit loss (ECL), credit value adjustment (CVA), credit reserves and cost ofcredit
- Work with accounting and treasury team and provide the following support:

- Daily accounting and finance report and analysis
- Manage daily funds schedule to ensure funds for each cargo are received/paid in a timely manner
- Prepare bank instructions
- Liaise with banks for trade finance as required
- Coordinate with counterparties on pricing confirmation and LC/SBLC draft negotiation
- Coordinate with banks about KYC, facility and related issue documents
- Prepare monthly cash flow analysis report

Our client is ideally looking for someone who has the following qualifications, skills and experience:

- In-depth knowledge of credit analysis and risk analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of financial tools eg. margining, LCs, PCGs, security, insurance
- Understanding of the Global/European energy and crude markets.
- Understanding of the General Trading Terms (GTMA, NBP, EFET, GT&Cs, ISDA/CSA)
- Demonstrable experience with ratings agency, bank, or commodity trader
- Comfortable conducting due diligence and driving comprehensive credit assessments
- Good understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts
- Possess accounting and Finance reporting experience
