Up to 20% of time

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Carry out full EU CSRD analysis including gap analysis and assessment for Environmental and Social ESRS adherence as it pertains to Farmers in BAT’s Supply Chain(195k farmers) with increased focus on internal BAT Leaf Operations (80k)
- Accountability of disclosure for each material topic as required by EU CSRD regulation, including Cap Ex and OPEX understanding across 11 GLTs, 30 different tobacco origins representing a £1.5b net turnover
- Embed the data collection and calculation of the above information in BAU wherever possible and create a Gap analysis on anything else required either as data collection or new activity on the field
- SME ownership for the material ESRS topics related to the Leaf Supply Chain and, where appropriate, carry out operational modelling & scenario analysis required as part of Impact, Risk & Opportunities for the Leaf Business
- Carry out additional regulatory readiness as they become available incl. of SEC environmental and social impact modelling and disclosure where required
- Act as Sustainability Leaf SME cross functionally impacted by sustainability requirements

**EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE**

**ESSENTIAL**

**Experience Required**
- Experience in operations roles, social governance and operational reporting and regulation
- Interest in sustainability and leaf supply chain as well as policy and regulation. Understanding of leaf supply chain is beneficial.
- Strong experience working across functions to co-ordinate activities and develop a coherent approach that can be leveraged by multiple stakeholders
- Ability to analyse detailed documentation, identify key issues and produce effective summaries
- Working at above market/global level
- Understanding and driving BAT’s ESG priorities

**Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required**
- Passion for our sustainability agenda and A Better Tomorrow
- Ability to influence and drive stakeholders & ESG priority workstreams
- Effective communication and presentation skills within international environment
- Resilient, flexible, and confident to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
- Strong written English

**Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required**
- Graduate degree
