**Salary: £25,334 - £55,000 pro rata, per annum dependent on experience**
**Hours: 22.5 hours - 30 hours (3 to 4 days per week)**
**Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only**
**About the role**
We are looking for an experienced psychotherapist to join our Clinical Hub working as a key integrated member of our clinical and education team in our established Baston House School clinical team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for Autistic children and young people.
You will implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our children and young people in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of psychotherapy clinical duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. You will work both individually and alongside other professionals in the clinical team to deliver your intervention.

**Essential Criteria**:
- Recognised and relevant psychotherapy qualification
- Full membership with a recognised psychotherapy professional body
- Experience within the specialist client group. (complex communication issues relating to autism, language disorder, sensory impairment, learning disabilities/difficulties and associated challenging behaviour, gross and fine motor skill difficulties)
- Experience of working within an educational setting would be advantageous
- Relevant post-qualification experience working as a psychotherapist
- Skills in co-working, liaison and consultation with others, especially with regard to highly complex cases
- Specialist knowledge of psychotherapy assessments and interventions
- Ability to carry out both 1:1 and group sessions
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, complex, technical and clinically sensitive information to the specific client group, their carers and families and a wide range of professionals outside the service
