- £11.60 per hour

Weeks 2-12 training - £12.04 per hour

Successful probation after 12 weeks £ 12.32 per hour

**£1 extra for all hours worked between 18:00 - 06:00**

Overtime x 1.25 for hours worked above contract

**Must be aged 18 or over due to shift work**

You will be responsible for ensuring that packs of bagels are correctly placed into cases by the machine. Ensuring packs of product are grouped together according to box size format and securely placed into the case making adjustments to the machine settings to accommodate different pack sizes and case dimensions, conducting regular checks to verify that the bagels are packed correctly without any damage. In case of any discrepancies, they promptly adjust the machine parameters or perform basic troubleshooting to rectify the issue. ensuring the quality of the packaged bagels ready for distribution.
- Reporting to the Manhattan Packing Area Line Leader, the Case Packer role covers the following:_

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
1. Ensure all health and safety standards are maintained.

2. Understands the production run plans and all corresponding paperwork.

3. Operates equipment in a safe and effective manner following written and verbal instructions to minimize the risk of injury, damage, or loss.

4. Able to operate the pallet machine.

5. Completes paperwork checks on time and in full, with appropriate actions carried out and recorded.

6. Upholds traceability requirements.

7. Maintains GMP and housekeeping standards to be audit ready. Demonstrating alignment and required housekeeping for allergen control and CCP’s and can explain them.

8. Understands all the safety and food safety processes for the area in which they work and can explain them.

10. Accurately completes any required checks or monitoring, completing paperwork correctly and in a timely manner.

11. Understands and can explain the reporting procedure for any equipment errors or faults that occur in their work area, reporting any issues or faults to the Area Line Leader.

12. Always complies with company policies, procedures, and processes.

**Key Requirements**:
1. Manual Handling trained.

2. Trained against all relevant SOPs and work instructions.

3. COSHH trained.

4. Allergen trained.

5. Good communication skills

**About You**

1.Used to working in a fast paced production environment.

2. Focused on quality and able to produce products to a high standard

3. Working either independently or within a team.

4. Achieve team objectives.

5. Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
- To be successful in this role, you must have at _**least 6 months food production**_ _experience._
