Guest Services Advisor

To give a courteous and efficient service to all customers and guests. To take all guest enquiries and ensure guests receive excellent service throughout. Co-ordinating communication throughout all departments.

Working days will be midweek shifts and every other weekend

Shifts will vary from working 8am-5pm, 10am-7pm or 11am-8pm.

Every other weekend off.

**Primary Accountabilities**:

- Welcoming all visitors on arrival to the building in a polite and courteous manner.
- Dealing with all guest enquiries and to respond to immediate guest requests.
- Operation of shop till, cashing up and balancing at end of day.
- To monitor and log all maintenance issues on the park.
- To deal with minor or straightforward complaints.
- To keep up to date with local tourism attractions and visitor information.
- Control entrance to pool and gym by checking membership cards, visitors cards etc.
- Selling Whitemead leisure memberships to local members where applicable.
- To follow check in and check out procedures for arriving and departing guests with excellent customer care.
- To take and process bookings for Activities and adventure golf.
- To assist with ordering, accepting and checking of deliveries and appropriate storage and stock rotation. Ensuring that orders are completed in line with deadlines.
- To ensure all date code checks are done on a daily and weekly basis on shop items.
- To ensure all fridges and freezers are maintained at the legal temperature requirements and record readings in line with legislation.
- To prepare welcome hampers as required ensuring correct contents and arranging for delivery.
- To be aware of regulations in connection with the sale of alcohol and tobacco products

**Essential requirements**:

- Good communication skills - confident to talk to guests and your colleagues
- An awareness of general standards of cleanliness
- Good attention to detail
- Must be able to work at least 8 hours on a weekend
- Must be computer literate.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic maths skills for cashing up tills at end of day
