**Responsibilities**:
In this role you will be implementing WGSN’s content strategy, translating it into actionable plans for new fashion product development. You'll be an inspiring and creative thought leader with an extensive knowledge of the global fashion market and the skills to assimilate client challenges and turn them into commercial opportunities. You'll be creating and presenting your own world class content while leading, curating and supporting the editing of content from WGSN fashion’s global team of product experts.

Relevant work experience for this role would include a senior consultant working extensively with global fashion clients on product strategy and innovation within a consultancy or market intelligence business, or an experienced and strategic senior editor versed in shaping and implementing content strategy at a senior level in a B2B fashion content business. Alternatively a senior lead working within a strategy and innovation team at a fashion business.

This role has a clear career progression pathway to becoming a Fashion Director.

Key accountabilities- Responsible for implementing the fashion content strategy as directed by the Fashion Director- Responsible for researching and creating solution driven content showing a clear understanding of client needs across several segments. To deliver this content in either written, visual or video format- Forecasting and tracking with quantitative and qualitative data within all markets and demographics and responsible for the integration of WGSN’s data-led products (Trend Curve+ and Barometer) as directed by the Fashion Director- Deliver traffic growth by consistently evaluating internal data and client feedback to improve content standards and relevance- Accountable for signing off team’s content, ensuring content standards are met and ready for publication as directed by the Fashion Director- Responsible for content output of 10 content intelligence reports per year- Key contributor to our content marketing proposition- Travel nationally and internationally to cover industry trade shows, conferences and other events as required- Actively and regularly seeks market intelligence via both client calls and industry relationships, preparing client feedback for quarterly reviews and balancing against the strategic business priorities.- Create new opportunities and deliver consultancy projects and workshops to clients with the consultancy arm, Mindset when required- Provide quotes for press and broadcast media as required- Line management responsibility for mid-year and end-of-year reviews, setting of objectives and personal career development plans for your team members- Contributing to recruitment for the department for both freelancers and permanent roles- Be an outstanding brand ambassador for WGSN globally

Skills, experience & qualifications required- Vast experience implementing the content strategy for an organisation, and translating that direction into an actionable plan- A recognised thought leader within the industry with a list of industry contacts- Extensive career experience within fashion product and retail intelligence including data analysis, consumer insight and content creation- Strong knowledge of the global market from macro to micro trends across consumer, fashion and lifestyle product areas, and the ability to assimilate client challenges/needs into commercial opportunities- Excellent presentation skills with proven experience of presenting to internal and external stakeholders in a range of situations including face-to-face, video conference
