**Hours: 36 hours per week - term time plus two weeks**

**Salary: Grade NJC SO1 point 23**

**Role Description**:
As a School Data Officer your primary responsibility will be to assist in the migration of all student data from the current Management Information System (MIS) to a new MIS. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data. Additionally, you will work closely with the Data Manager, Deputy Headteacher, and various teams to collect, analyse, and manage data, including termly assessment data and Statutory School Pupil Census Returns.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and update school databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Enrol new students into classes and provide them with their personal printed timetables.
- Create user accounts and allocate relevant access rights to new teachers, TAs, and staff members, supporting them in effectively using the MIS.
- Assist with termly assessment data collection.
- Support the Data Manager in School Pupil Census returns and data collection for external agencies.
- Assist with the collection and correction of MIS data for DfE Census returns.
- Collaborate with the Examinations Officer in the administration and management of public/internal examinations, adhering to regulatory guidelines.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Help manage the Annual Progression process, ensuring the setup of the next academic year using the school calendar as a guide.
- Maintain an archive of prior attainment, reports, and historical data, providing specific data requests as required.
- Assist in the design and setup of new reports.
- Support the Examinations team and deputise for the Exams Officer, including result communication and management.

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proficient in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
