**The team**
- The Group - Corporate & Legal Affairs team is part of ITV’s Legal & Business Affairs function and sits at ITV plc group level. The team provide strategic legal advice and support across the group (including to the Studios and Media & Entertainment divisions) in connection with corporate transactions, intellectual property, disputes & litigation and general commercial and operational matters._

**The role**
- Senior Legal Advisor (Commercial) within the Group - Corporate & Legal Affairs team. This role will have responsibility for providing commercial legal advice and support to ITV Group teams (including Finance, Tax, Social Purpose, Strategy, HR and Procurement) on operational matters and group projects, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts. This role will also support, as required, the Head of Legal - Group IP & Litigation providing strategic legal advice on disputes and contentious matters across ITV._

**Skills you’ll need **(minimum criteria)
- Solicitor qualified in England and Wales with a minimum 6 years PQE obtained in private practice or in-house.
- Extensive commercial and intellectual property law expertise and experience gained in a top tier private practice firm or in-house legal team.

**Other things we’re looking for **(key criteria)
- Ability to work independently to provide strategic and commercially driven legal advice and recommendations to senior stakeholders across the group.
- Ability to exercise sound analytical judgement to assess risk.
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with various teams across ITV (including Procurement, Compliance, Insurance, Finance, Tax, HR, Cyber, Technology, Data Privacy, Brand Protection, Group Strategy and Social Purpose).
- Ability to manage a varied workload involving teams and senior stakeholders across ITV.
- Experience delivering legal training and creating and maintaining precedent documentation and guidance.
