Bike Mechanic

**Smyths Toy Superstores are a rapidly expanding retailer specialising in toys, software, and nursery products. We are currently recruiting a Bike Mechanic.**

**Training in bike assembly and health & safety is provided.**

**Our Stores are open 7 days a week and we need our Bike Mechanics to be as flexible as possible to ensure that it succeeds. Weekends are our busiest trading days so it is likely that you will be required to work on these days.**

**This is a temporary contract, with a rate of pay o £7.90 per hour for under 21, over 21 a rate of pay of £10.10 per hour**

**Requirements**:

- **Previous experience working in bike assembly/ repairs desirable**
- **Some experience in mechanical, hands-on role desirable**
- **Personal interest in biking/ bikes would be advantageous**
- **Good organisational skills essential to manage assembly certificates/ health & safety paperwork**
- **Retail merchandising experience is desirable but is not essential.**
