**LEGAL ADMINISTRATOR / RECEPTIONIST**

**TAUNTON**

**FULL-TIME**

**£18,000 - £22,000**

**Our client is a well-established specialist law practice based in Taunton and they are looking for an experienced Legal Administrator/Receptionist.**

**The role will include but not limited to, the following responsibilities**:

- To assist in ensuring clients are welcomed in an excellent and professional manner, their queries are dealt with efficiently and that their customer experience is exceptional.
- Answer telephone; screen calls, forward calls and/or record and forward messages accurately; transcribe messages from telephone answering machine.
- Type forms, form letters and other documents as required at acceptable levels of speed and accuracy; collate and photocopy materials as necessary; maintain supply of forms as needed.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically; organise conferences and meeting room bookings, co-ordinate meetings.
- Report any maintenance issues immediately to line manager, including all furniture, fittings and equipment.
- Assist in the management of caseload by actioning legal procedures as directed by the Fee Earner.
- Assist Fee Earners in the processing of matters on a timely and cost effective basis.
- Use the correct Practice procedures and systems in order to manage cases effectively and in accordance with

the firm’s standards and legal requirements.
- Improve and enhance the firm’s client base by effective liaison with existing clients.
- Manage own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision.
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
