**Payroll Assistant**
**Full time or Part time (1 day work from home a week)**
**Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum**
**Permanent position**
**Location: Norwich**
Our client, one of the top accountancy practices based in Norwich NR1 are looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Assistant to join their team in Norwich. Flexible working available, part time or full-time hours with the option of work from home 1 day a week.
**Duties will include, but will not be limited to**:

- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls from end to end for external clients, ensuring they are paid accurately and in time
- Processing auto enrolment for clients as necessary
- PAYE/NIC and CIS Administration
- Statutory calculations and discussions
- Meeting RTI obligations including end of year submissions, issue of P60's Contributing to the provision of an excellent service to a diverse range of external clients, providing support to managers and partners
- Assist clients with queries a professional manner
- Providing support to managers and partners

**Experience required**:

- At least 2 years experience in a payroll department or in a payroll related role
- Great understanding of payroll statutory obligations such as Maternity, Paternity, SSP, Tax, NI, CIS, Auto Enrolment and Holiday Pay.
- Customer orientated with professional approach.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confidentiality at all times
- Ideally you will have completed the CIPP Payroll Technician course or equivalent, but this is not essential.
