We are currently looking to appoint Primary school teachers to provide day to day or long-term cover within schools in the Smethwick area. Throughout the academic year we have multiple opportunities that are flexible and allow you to pick and choose when andwhere you work, whether it is one day a week or five.
Our schools strive for consistency and continuity and prefer to build up a pool of regular supply teaching staff, allowing you to become familiar with the children across school, the routines of school day and their specific school policies.
Your new role as a Primary supply teacher requires you to support pupils in reaching their full potential whilst furthering your experience and developing your teaching skills. As a primary supply teacher, you will be expected to deliver a high quality of educationthrough engaging the students, regardless of the length of cover.
On day-to-day supply bookings may be received in advance or on the morning of required cover.
Long term supply bookings can be anything from 4 weeks plus and depending on the requirements of the school, may require an element of planning and marking.
What you'll need to succeed
Applications will be accepted from qualified and newly qualified teachers.
In order to be successful in securing one of our many positions and joining our ever-growing primary supply teacher team, you must possess Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and be able to provide two satisfactory professional references. You must have a goodunderstanding of the National Curriculum and be able to adapt planning to suit the needs of your class. It is essential that you can be flexible and willing to adapt while being confident, organised.
What we are looking for:

- someone to take full class responsibility
- someone M3 qualified
- has QTS (No ECTs / unqualified teachers)
What we offer:

- PPA time
- Planning and resources all provided, they just need tweaking for that cohort
- Wonderful children, staff, Assistant Head and Headteacher.
Timings:
At least 8:30 arrival Children finish at 3:30pm
Staff meetings on a Wednesday: 3:45 - 4:45 - 5
Staff briefing on a Friday: 8:10am
