**Job Title**:Import Customs Agent with CDS Knowledge

**Responsibilities**:
**Customs Clearance**:

- Liaise with customs authorities to facilitate the timely clearance of imported goods.
- Resolve any customs-related issues or discrepancies that may arise during the clearance process.

**Compliance Management**:

- Stay informed about changes in import/export laws and regulations.
- Ensure that import activities comply with all relevant customs and trade compliance requirements.

**Communication and Coordination**:

- Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless import processes.
- Communicate effectively with external parties, including customs officials, brokers, and other relevant stakeholders.

**Problem Resolution**:

- Identify and address any issues related to customs clearance or compliance promptly.
- Work proactively to prevent and resolve customs-related challenges.

**Customs Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to customs regulations and policies for both imports and exports.
- Utilize extensive knowledge of the Customs Declaration System (CDS) to prepare accurate and compliant customs documentation.

**Tariff Classification**:

- Conduct thorough tariff classification analyses to determine accurate duties and taxes applicable to imported/exported goods.
- Stay updated on changes in tariff codes and other trade-related regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Import Customs Agent or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariff codes, and import/export processes.
- Strong understanding of international trade compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with customs clearance software and systems.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain) is preferred.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import customs clearance.
