To act as an anaesthetic practitioner for the whole range of surgical specialties.

To develop anaesthetic, resuscitation, post anaesthetic skills in all specialties.

**Principal Duties**:
**Including**:

- Rotation through the various theatres/specialties
- Participation in teaching new staff and nursing auxilaries
- Occasionally manage a theatre list
- Development of anaesthetic assistant skills in all specialties
- Participation in the management of the department through team meetings
- Rotate into recovery to learn skills
