**PA and Administrator**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PA to the Manager to join Benoni Nursing Home. We are seeking an individual to support the Registered Manager with the next phase of development at the home. As an experienced administrator either stepping up into this new role or moving into/within the Nursing Home setting, you will bring your professional skills, passion for working within a team and pride in developing staff in our Home. Previous experience within a PA or administrative role is essential, experience within a training and development setting would be desirable.

**The main responsibilities of this role include**:
l Implement actions to meet and maintain secretarial and administrative standards

l Support the development of the training and education objectives for all staff

l Assist the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives for the administrative and financial practice

l Implement action to meet and maintain administrative and financial standard

l Evaluate standards of administrative and financial competence

**The main requirements for this role are**:
Ø Secretarial duties for Matron/Manager, Deputies and Clinical Team - including diary management, organising and supporting of meetings, training, appraisals, supervisions.

Ø Supporting the development of the training schedule for all staff including sourcing of external courses and preparation of internal delivery.

Ø Supporting the Matron and Clinical Team with documentation requirements; updates, replenishment and archiving.

Ø Office administrative tasks; staff rotas, telephone enquiries and fielding messages, arranging transport and any other ad-hoc duties.

Ø Provide cover in other areas of the home as and when required

Ø 36-hour contract.
