**Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - FMCG**

**Location: Chester**

**Salary: £45,000 + Pension + Overtime
4 on 4 off - 2 Days & 2 Nights**

**The Company**

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers, **s**pecialising in the FMCG sector.The company have been established for over 50 years and is therefore extremely well established, supplying a variety of end users. Due to continued growth in their market share they are looking to recruit anengineer to add to the strong engineering team.

**Key Skills**
- **Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering**:

- **Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery**:

- **Understanding of PPM systems within FMCG Manufacturing**

**The Role**
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all preventative maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption.
- Work collaboratively within the engineering team, providing support in investigating means of improving plant productivity and investigating and establishing causes for all breakdowns and damages.
- Action any repairs and ensure that all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised and you will be involved in electrical and mechanical proactive and re-active maintenance.
- Ensure that all necessary spare parts, materials, and equipment are available
- Investigate and establish causes of all breakdowns and damages

- Be involved in both electrical and mechanical reactive and pro-active maintenance
- Be proactive in ensuring good health and safety on site
