Intertek's Caleb Brett UK business provides quality and quantity measurement, inspection, and laboratory testing services to the global oil, gas, petrochemical, petroleum refining & distribution, natural gas, biofuels, marine, and chemicals industries.

Due to internal promotion, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join our team based in West Thurrock. We are looking for someone who is personable, organised and has excellent customer service skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and support the Goods In department
- Receiving samples and logging their arrival
- Logging the samples into the Laboratory System
- Administration of the LIMS system
- Preparing and organizing samples for distribution to other sites
- Distributing samples to the labs on-site for analysis
- Purchase and ordering of consumables, and handling the associated paperwork, storage, and distribution of the purchased goods
- General administrative tasks such as filing, archiving, and working with Excel spreadsheets

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous experience in an administration role is beneficial but not required
- Good IT literacy skills, especially Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional and responsible
- Full UK driving license
- Personable and customer focused
- You will need to have strong administration skills with the ability to use Excel, Word, and Microsoft teams comfortably
