Technical Cleaning Operator-mobile

Areas covers: Glasgow, Edinburgh and other areas.
**This role is mobile and there will be van provided. A driving license is required**
**Main duties**
In your role as a mobile technical cleaning operator you will need to ensure your van and all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is in a safe working order, i.e PAT Tested. Have full knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning task and job allocated, including the agreed work specification and time allocated to the job in hand. Ensure the designated areas are cleaned to specification and in line with the contract and relevant Service Level agreements. You will also need to have full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals (COSHH) used to attend all necessary training. Training will be provided. You will have to comply with the requirements of Health & Safety and other relevant legislation and premises policies and sign in and record attendance on works as per client instructions, these must be an accurate record of the operatives contracted and worked hours and show the start and finish times on a daily basis. In the event of a building being evacuated the sign in book will be used as a checklist and headcount. You will need to be aware of material expenditure and avoid unnecessary wastage of chemicals and consumables and to report any maintenance defects to the TCS Supervisor. You need to understand and observe MITIE's and clients site rules at all times and wear Protective clothing (PPE) as issued and instructed via the risk assessments for each task. As well as observing all company and client statutory fire and safety regulations and to actively promote good safety habits and methods of work. You will also be required to deal with any complaints that fall within the job holders duties and report these immediately to the TCS supervisor. In general you will need to perform miscellaneous cleaning duties as apparent or as instructed by the cleaning supervisor and undertake any other related duties which are within the job holders capability, according to the needs of the business and as directed by the operations manager.

**Qualifications**
In order to be successful in this role you will need have a valid driving licence, the ability to communicate and read **basic** English, previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential and have a flexible approach to the role. You will need to be open, honest, self-driven and determined. You'll need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude. You will be trained specifically for this role.
