Young Persons Support Worker

If you are a Residential Support Worker, or looking to work with children, we have a unique opportunity for you in Southport.
We are working with a local and newly established Residential Care Company that both really value their staff and the children at their service, and as such are looking for wonderful people to join their business
Keen to promote within, you have the opportunity with the right work ethic to become a Manager in 12 months, plus a share of a massive annual bonus that is shared between the staff, depending on performance, the running of the home and compliance with OFSTED.
We require Residential Support Workers to support children aged 8-17 with complex and challenging needs.
Currently, we have full time positions for RSW's in Southport. There are big plans of growth within this company, and they are looking for staff that can progress internally and grow with the business three/fourfold in the coming 12-24 months.
**You will work shifts through the week and equally share the sleep ins between the staff, and this is at an additional £50 per sleep-in.**
Roles and Responsibilities of a Residential Support Worker:
- Support the children overnight at this service and encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle.
- Carry out individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child.
- Comply with regulations set out in the home and under Ofsted regulations.
Please note this is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately and hit the ground running.
How shifts usually work:
**You will work 3-4 day shifts per week, and do around 6 sleep-in shifts per month, which is paid additional at £50 per sleep.**
- **What we require from a Residential Support Worker**:_
- NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare/Children and Young People's Workforce or willing to work towards it
- A strong work ethic, ideally at least a years experience in residential childcare Someone looking to grow with the business.
