Edm Operator

We’re supporting our client, a leading precision engineering company based in High Wycombe, who are looking for a EDM Operator to join their growing team. The successful EDM Operator will have experience of Spark Erode EDM Machines and be able to program and operate.

Shifts: days

**Responsibilities**:

- Based upon oral instructions, operations sheets, drawings, sketches, CAD. Programs and set up parts
- Enter programs and all necessary parameters into machine control on Mitsubishi and Charmille machines
- Perform inspections of finished parts
- Clean and preventative maintenance of machines
- Other duties may be assigned
- Program, set up, and operate Spark erode EDM machines to process F1 and press tool components.
- Inspect parts produced
- Perform routine machine and electrode maintenanance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £17.00-£19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- High Wycombe: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
