Overview:
Our Ealing service has an exciting vacancy for a Prison In-reach Recovery Coordinator this job has great opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives.
This exciting new role will provide strong partnerships and joint working within the prison and beyond to seek to reduce re-offending and improve health and well-being outcomes for people with a history of Substance Misuse.

**Where**: Ealing, London
**Hours**: 37.5hrs per week
**Salary**:CGL scale 23 to 28 (£26,393 - £30,316 dependent on experience plus £3915 ILW pro rata)
**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:
- Hold a small caseload of service users providing needs met interventions.
- Assist in co-ordinating access to substance misuse interventions for women as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team.
- Carry out comprehensive service user assessments, including mapping of community resources and develop individual action plans that clearly identify how achieving each goal will enable progression in addressing homelessness/substance use and re/integrating into the community.
- Work closely with prison security departments when assessing risk and develop strong links with partner agencies within the prison system.
- Work as part of a team to identify people who have a history of rough sleeping and reoffending resulting in custodial sentences.
- To support information sharing and shared processes between all relevant partners to affect a safe, seamless and successful resettlement plan from prison.
- To work with local community services and/or prison establishment to ensure the provision of Naloxone and overdose prevention information is provided at the point of release.
- To contribute to the implementation and promotion of the service and champion women only issues.
**About you**:
- Knowledge and experience of providing interventions for service users affected by substance use.
- Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills.
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills.
- Have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice.
- Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users.
- Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others.
