McCulloch are a unique business with a range of innovative technologies to make rail handling and logistics safer, with more efficient working practices. Due to growth ambitions, we are seeking to recruit four Machine Operators, to be based at our Doncaster depot. We are looking for those who are ideally already in the rail industry and looking for a new challenge, in a flexible, innovative, people focussed business. Due to the unique nature of our machines, full training will be necessary and provided. Any additional qualifications such as COSS, HGV, OTP HPV Operator, POS representative, First Aider would be desirable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate all plant & machinery, on which you have been trained, to meet customer requirements ’and industry standards.
- Responsible for ensuring that vehicles, tools and equipment under your control are fit for use and used, stored, maintained in line with company policy
- Responsible for adhering to health & safety legislation, industry standards and company procedure when operating equipment
- Responsible for your own safety and that of your team
- Represent the company in a professional & ethical manner at all times

Knowledge & Skills
- Rail experience essential (track renewals/maintenance)
- Machine operator experience
- Safety conscious individual with experience of rail H&S risks and requirements
- Customer service driven
- Skilled problem solver who thrives under pressure
- Skilled communicator, who works well within a team and is comfortable taking instruction
- Flexible individual, with the ability to work away from home when required

**Qualifications**:
Essential
- Current clean driving licence
- PTS (Personal Track Safety Network Rail)

Desirable
- BTA (Basic Track Awareness London Underground)
- OTP HPV Operator, COSS, Machine Controller, POS experience
- LGV C1 + E
- Road Rail Unimog experience
- First Aider

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.00-£22.00 per hour

- Doncaster, South Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
