Claims Technician

Advantage, part of the Hastings Group, is an established Gibraltar based insurer authorised to underwrite private motor and home insurance in the United Kingdom. With nearly 3m customers, we are one of the largest insurers in Gibraltar.
We are seeking a **Claims Technician** to join our Claims Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- To manage a caseload of bodily injury large losses including some high value personal injury claims including ensuring cases are reported to reinsurers correctly.
- Actively participating in and making case reserve recommendations in the Large Loss Committee.
- Identifying claims that are reportable to reinsurers.
- To manage a case load of large household claims including ensuring cases are reported to reinsurers correctly
- To participate in auditing large losses and other relevant claims.
- To help develop the claims oversight framework.
