Construction Traffic Marshall

Biosite Security Limited specialises in construction site security and other support services and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic daytime Traffic Marshal to join our dynamic team.
This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career within the construction industry and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive site/company.
Based on site with our end customer, you will work closely with all areas of their company and ours, to secure the site and assist with the site team in ensuring overall site security is maintained. You will be helping the team at Biosite Security to achieve agreed targets and service level agreements. This exciting position offers the opportunity to progress into a bigger role such as joining our management team through our EPS.
Biosite Security is an Approved Contractor of the Security Industry Authority. The ACS Standard encompasses all aspects of a security provider’s operation. It takes a holistic view of how well an organisation is managed and an approved organisation must demonstrate to an independent assessor, on an annual basis, that it has met defined standards. **Responsibilities**
- Safely ensuring traffic into and out of site
- Lock and unlock at the start and end of the day
- Ensuring appropriate recording of deliveries/vehicles using the Biosite delivery management system and conducting any FORS/CLOCS checks where required
- Ensuring site H&S rules are followed, and reporting any safety breaches to the site team
- Communicating with drivers and plant operators verbally and by radio and/or industry standard hand signals
**Requirements**:
- 1 years traffic marshal experience in a similar company or construction site
- Excellent personal management skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- A valid NPORS N403 (CSCS) card or CPCS A73 or Banksman Card
- A valid CSCS Card
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Knowledge of public safety and security
- Should be able to reliably commute to the Northstowe area.
**Remuneration & Selection**
Biosite Security has a great employee progression scheme which has seen several members of our site team be offered positions within management or the control room team. We offer a starting rate of £14.75 for this position with a review after 6 months of service.
