An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardio-Respiratory Department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital for a Trainee Echocardiographer.
- To complete a competency-based training programme to perform or assist in; Echocardiograms, Ambulatory ECG analysis, 12 lead ECG reporting, Exercise treadmill test/Tilt testing.
- Undertake the SCST Diploma in ECG interpretation.
- Undertake the 18-month Echocardiography Training Programme (ETP), commencing September 2024. This training programme is delivered via a combination of academic modules and work-based training.
- Successfully obtain a PGCert in Echocardiography and Level 2 BSE accreditation in transthoracic echocardiography
