Deli Counter Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Deli Counter Assistant to join our team at Holbrook Manor. As a renowned & successful wedding and events venue, along with a busy Wellness centre, we are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to provide support to our existing Food & Beverage Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and soups
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met in accordance with health regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and rotation of food products
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions they may have
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality of food products
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking ingredients and supplies as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Barista training preferred
- Previous experience in a restaurant or deli setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
