This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.

As a Barclays Wealth Planning Team Leader, you will join a team of specialists within Private Banking & Wealth Management, responsible for managing a team of Wealth Planners and Wealth Managers. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be accountable for delivering best-in-class service to the client, an exemplary team performance - measured by exceeding revenue and net new asset targets, quality sales management and meeting the highest risk and business assurance standards in the industry.

**What will you be doing?**
- Driving revenue and asset gathering through effective sales management of the team, providing top quality leadership and supervision, without your own book of clients
- Achieving and exceeding team asset, revenue and margin targets with the balance of affordability, cost discipline and risk & control management
- Providing sales leadership and direction for the team as well as developing and executing the team strategy and driving consistent, high-quality delivery
- Growing individual Wealth Planner revenue and asset gathering through effective sales management & coaching
- Supporting the acquisition, servicing, development and retention of clients to achieve the business plan
- Creating a culture where team members deliver all the relevant standards associated with the Client Advisory Framework (CAF) and Barclays Values
- Identifying opportunities and implement solutions that enhance the client experience and increase share of wallet
- Demonstrating a growth mindset, keeping senior management informed of opportunities and threats within the business environment, suggesting ways to improve where needed

**What we’re looking for**:

- CF30 Customer Function registration, with appropriate professional qualifications for supervising FCA Approved Persons
- Compliance with requirements under RDR from January 2013
- A financial planning qualification with a minimum of level 4
- Full compliance with the FCA’s Statements of Principle for Code of Practice for Approved Persons (APER)
