Data Processor (Remote Position)

**About Us**:
Carpe Datum is the forefront provider of Veterinary Practice Data Management, operating the cutting-edge 'Index,' one of the most innovative business management support systems in the industry.

**About the Role**:
We are seeking an experienced Data Processor to join our dedicated team, supporting the Veterinary industry. With a firm knowledge of programming, and with a superb eye for detail, you will be responsible for engineering practice management system data into the 'Index,' providing categorised data crucial for consultants in coaching veterinary business owners. This position offers remote working flexibility with quarterly in-person meetings. Proximity to Swindon/Wiltshire area is advantageous.

**Responsibilities**:

- Process and organise data accurately and promptly
- Maintaining communication with our client base and processing records
- Offer customer support and address inquiries regarding data processing
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and data management
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Generate reports and contribute to bespoke projects

**About You**:
**Key Tasks include**:

- Extract, process, and organise data accurately and promptly
- Utilise all Office 365 programmes to maintain stakeholder communication
- Update and maintain processing records
- Provide customer support and assist with data processing inquiries and P&L reports
- Collaborate for smooth workflow and data management
- Maintain confidentiality and security
- Produce reports and contribute to bespoke projects

**Skill Base Required**:

- Proficiency in Excel and understanding of various data formats (.csv,.txt,.tsv)
- Basic knowledge of Python (coding experience not required)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounting software and profit and loss accounts (desirable)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Understanding of SQL
- Willingness to tackle challenges head-on
- Knowledge of the veterinary industry or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous GDPR experience

**Education**:

- HND or higher in computing/computer science/data analysis/data processing
- Computer literacy
- Min 5 GCSEs including Mathematics, English Language, or equivalent

**How to Apply**:

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
