**The Landing Place is looking for a Waitress/Server to join our team in Bognor Regis.**

Our stunning seaside restaurant located along the sunny south coast is looking for Front of House waiters and waitresses to join our restaurant team.

As a member of our team, you don't need to know how to juggle plates. We will teach you pretty much all you need to know about working in our restaurant. Enough even, for you to help us become the best in the market.

You’ll have an important responsibility at the very heart of the guests dining experience. So we’re looking for people who like people. Those who know that the eating experience is about more than the food served at the table.

Training and progression routes are also available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Taking guests’ orders
- Running food.
- Handling cash & other forms of payment
- Making sales transactions - using a handheld system
- Demonstrating responsible alcohol service
- Demonstrating impeccable product knowledge
- Answering questions - accurately and politely
- Satisfying any/all needs of the guests - checking back with guests throughout their experience.
- Maintaining a clean & organised station - including pre-laying tables & table maintenance.
- Performing opening, closing & side duties - setting up & breaking down restaurant, refilling condiments, cleaning cutlery, etc
- Full restaurant clean downs at the end of service including floors both in the restaurant and kitchen.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bognor Regis, PO21 1GF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
