Oxford, United Kingdom University of Oxford Full time

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Postdoctoral scientist with experience in pharmacometrics/pharmacokinetics/pharmacology or related fields to join the Team at the Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) in Thailand.

This job involves developing pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic models utilising clinical and non-clinical data from Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi), based in Geneva, Switzerland. You will be responsible for conducting pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data analyses. The main goal of this collaboration between MORU and DNDi is to optimise the drug development process and provide an evidence-based rational for dose selection of novel drugs for neglected tropical diseases which requires some travel between Bangkok and Geneva, considering the collaborative nature of the projects.

It is essential that you hold a PhD (or close to completion) in pharmacometrics or related area, and be able to evidence strong academic capacity in the form of publications or other scientific outputs. You will have post
- doctoral experience in PK/PD modelling and simulation and you will have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to write for publication, present proposal and results, and represent the research group at meetings.

This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract for 18 months and is funded by the DNDi Grant.
