Role Introduction:
As the Head of Infrastructure Consulting, you will be responsible for managing a team of specialist technical consultants with expertise covering datacentre infrastructure, networks, end user compute and Azure cloud infrastructure. You will provide technical strategy and leadership, and you will oversee the quality of architecture, consulting and delivery work provided by the team.

What You Will Do:

- Manage and lead a team of technical consultants, architects, and engineers with expertise in a range of infrastructure technologies.
- Create an environment where people feel supported and can thrive and work at their best.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Drive growth and profitability in professional services and support the growth of our outsourcing and managed services revenue.
- Manage the capacity of the team; ensuring we can deliver against pipeline whilst maintaining margins.
- Manage the development and promotion of technical strategy, best practice and standards.
- Ensure the quality of the work delivered by the team, managing performance with individuals where necessary, and balance billable utilisation with individual development.
- Work closely with our sales and presales teams to support in scoping, estimating, and winning new work.
- Maintain a strong and close partnership with your operational counterparts; you will maintain a tight feedback loop between operations and architecture/delivery, promoting ‘operability-by-design’ principles and ensuring operational alignment with strategy and best practice.
- Provide good and effective reporting, promoting transparency, and allowing meaningful discussion around progress, successes, blockers, and risks.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Able to operate at all levels and articulate messages to a variety of different audiences.
