I am a gentleman living at home with my partner on the outskirts of Peebles, near Kirkton Manor. I am looking for someone to come and spend a little time with me each week to allow my wife a break from her caring role.

I had a stroke in December of last year and I am still working on gaining more strength and mobility along with trying to better my speech. I see a speech therapist but would like someone who would be able to practice my exercises at home with me too.

I have been awarded 5 hours per week to be used flexibly so perhaps 2.5 hours twice a week but this can all be decided upon finding the right person. Hourly rate is £11.50 and you are entitled to 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis.
