Cleaning Supervisor

**An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious, diverse and vibrant office building in the centre of Bristol.**

You will be trained to BICSc standards (British institute of cleaning sciences) and will play a vital role in engaging with our evening cleaning team.

This role requires the following strengths:

- Adopts an adaptable and resilient nature, willing to undertake a variety of tasks

including assisting other team members in their duties (e.g. BMT)
- Can manage their time and tasks in an efficient manner

Tasks will include:

- Maintenance of the daily appearance of the internal areas:

- Floors, stairwells, entrances
- Removing marks from walls where possible
- Empty, clean and replace waste bins, as required.
- Checking all cleaning equipment, trolleys and cupboards for cleanliness
- Stock control and ordering of cleaning materials
- Responding to helpdesk requests for cleaning task during the day.
- Tasking team with any reactive actions required.
- Carrying out regular check on cleaning standards at site.
- Assist the activity of 3rd party soft services contractors (PHS / Window Cleaners /Waste & recycling)
- Dust all surfaces to hand height, ensure site is free of cobweb and remove marks on wall as they occur.
- Check all tables, desks, and cabinets are free from dust, dirt and polished
- Clean lift car interiors, as required, including vacuuming / mopping of floors, and mirrors, steel panel, call panels, telephone handset and lift door.
- Thoroughly clean washrooms, toilets, shower rooms and medical rooms,
including basins, toilets, floors, tiles, walls and mirrors and replace/ top up
consumables when necessary. Polish all metalwork
- External areas:

- Sweep and litter pick all external areas, including entrance steps and ramp
- Sweep and litter pick basement car park
- Wipe down and polish chrome railings
- Clean all glass entrance panels
- Remove cobwebs
- Clear bike storage areas from litter and debris
- Remove all cigarette butts from smoking area and empty cigarette bins
- Bin storage areas:

- Litter pick and sweep bin stores
- Ensure bin collections leave the area tidy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.92 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bristol: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
