We are working with a client who has a contract in Southampton, they require a Security Officer for an 8 week contract starting a soon as possible.

Our client specialises in high end contracts, including property, personal and government organisations.

**Duties**:

- Conduct regular patrols to prevent and detect any signs of unauthorised entry or suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities

Qualifications:

- SIA License
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

For your information the working hours for this role are 12 hour shifts, 4 on, 4 off. Throughout September the majority of these shifts are day shifts but there will be a requirement for night shifts also.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

**Salary**: £11.75-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 48 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Southampton, Hampshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- security: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- SIA (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
