Architectural Technician

Our Client are a small but well established Architects Practice who are about to embark on a large project for one of their best Clients.

Their Client is planning a move in to a new HQ building in London which will require extensive redesign and remodelling before they move in.

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to support the Project Architect throughout this project (expected to be 12-18 months) providing CAD support and management of the projects CAD files.

Responsibilities will include:

- Assist in the design of interior refurbishment projects, including concept development and detailing.
- Prepare drawings and sketches in accordance with project specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates and construction documents.
- Monitor progress of drawing schedules and ensure successful completion in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the Project Architect, vendors, and other stakeholders to assist in the successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support where required.
- Perform site visits to assess project progress.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and drawing database for the project.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field or Similar qualification with experience.
- Experience of working in an architectural technician role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and ideally ArchiCAD.
- Methodical and organised approach.
- Excellent organisational and time management ability
