Our client an excellent company currently looking to recruit an HGV Technician / Mechanic.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join the Automotive Maintenance Team as a fully skilled Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance Technician for this highly established global business who offer genuine career opportunities.

**Job Details**:
**Pay**: £18.00 to £20.00 per hour

**Location**: Basildon

**Employment Type**: Full-time

**Hours**: 2-week Rotation, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 14:00 / 14:00 to 22:00

**The Role**

HGV Technician / Mechanic

Working with an established team of Technicians your main duties will include:

- Responsible for keeping clients Heavy Goods Vehicles compliant with regulations and well maintained for business use.
- Full service and repairs a wide variety of vehicles.
- The Efficient and timely diagnosis of standard faults and ensuring underlying problems are resolved.
- Working to deadlines to ensure that work is completed on time.
- Maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of motor vehicles including motor cars, minibuses, light goods vehicles, Heavy Goods Vehicles, trailers.

**Skills & Experience**

The successful applicant will:
Be qualified to level 3 or equivalent in vehicle repair. (provide proof of qualification)

Have your own tools.

**Salary**: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
