Assistant NPD Technologist (Fixed Term Contract)

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Support NPD Technologists and Customer Marketing Manager in projects and development of new and existing products
- To prepare excellent quality samples for customer presentations and internal meetings
- Research and Identify consumer trends, market opportunities, and competitor products
- Assist with production trials and first production for NPD
- Detailed and clear understanding of the NPD process from concept to launch
- Ensure the accurate recording of information across NPD and EPD projects in line with customer codes of practice and Kettle processes
- Assisting in new raw materials/ packaging sourcing
- Assisting in external and internal paperwork
- Working on projects

**Skillset/Personal Attributes**
- Experience of operating MS Office suite of software tools
- Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
- Strong project management skills
- Accurate attention to detail & outstanding organisational skills
- Have a passion for food and understand trends and market intelligence for future development
- A good communicator and representative for our business to the customer
- Ability to succeed in team environment as well as working independently

**Qualifications**
- Educated to a degree level Ideally in food science, food technology or food science and nutrition.
