Established in 2001, RHC Lifting Limited is a leader in the servicing and maintenance of lifting equipment and in the design and manufacture of innovative lifting solutions.

We are currently looking for a proactive, organised **Workshop Assistant **who will work as part of our Workshop Team. Primarily responsible for overseeing the effective management of the Goods In process, this role will also be responsible for creating and implementing inventory control measures to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials, will have knowledge of stock locations, and will ensure that inventory is booked in and stored in the correct location.

**Main Functions**
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety in the workshop and goods in areas at all times.
- Completion of stock audits as necessary, feeding back stock counts to the Workshop Manager and resolving any stock queries identified.
- Ensure that goods in / stock control is well organised and efficient.
- Checking components quantities and supplier certificate of conformance paperwork is correct for each delivery and stock is booked in and stored in the correct location.
- Carry out receiving inspections and notification of products unsuitable for processing
- Deliveries and collections.
- Carry out PAT testing to ensure electrical items are fit for use.
- Ensuring that tools and equipment are checked in and out and that they are stored correctly.
