**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** | **About the role**

As an Internal Product Sales Specialist you will provide support for F5, Thales, Netskope and Exabeam, whilst providing internal Support for the external sales team when they are out of with the partners. The role can be based out of our offices based in either Alton, Hampshire, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire or Newmarket, West Suffolk.

**As the Business Development Executive, you will**:

- Provide a high level of customer service to the business to ensure day to day quote and order activity follow the Partner Programme, Deal Reg and other processes fairly.
- Manage the Price List process including ownership of part codes and currency changes, gathering and present data for Netsuite uploads, end of sale notifications and pricelist publication.
- Understand your vendors messaging by taking online sales accreditations.
- Educate EXN teams on all pricing and quoting matters.
- Create and check quotes ensuring complete accuracy and ensuring profitability across the franchise.
- Work with Sales and Resellers directly to manage the pipeline and create a regular forecast highlighting hit list deals documenting relevant notes and expected close dates in Netsuite.
- Work with Sales and Technical teams in both EXN and your aligned Vendors to efficiently manage opportunities and promote EXN value added services.
- Qualify potential new Resellers and provide initial details before aligning the lead to an External.
- Manage the Vendors Ordering and Renewals process especially at busy times such as month end.
- Provide support to Operations and vendor order management teams to resolve issues with orders and deliveries.
- Supporting the wider External Vendor Alliances team for your aligned vendor(s) by being available.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE** | **About you**

**The ideal Business Development Executive will**:

- Have proven experience in a Sales and Account Management role, ideally within the IT industry
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to develop both internal and external relationships
- Ability to problem solve, identifying a client’s needs and respond accordingly
- Have proven negotiation skills and demonstrable ability to use influencing skills to close business and sell additional products and services
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills with exceptional attention to detail
- strong administration skills
- be a self-starter who takes a positive approach to sales
- Take responsibility for personal development with a strong desire to work to and surpass targets
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
