We are currently in search of Junior Data Engineers on a permanent basis.

Our client are the UK's fastest growing digital transformation start-up which specialises in design, build and delivery of digital products and services into public sector clients and are currently in need of Data Engineers with experience in the cloud.They focus on empowering the nation's central and local government authorities to embrace modern technology and accelerate their digital services.

**As a Junior Data Engineer you will**:

- Play a pivotal role in helping public sector organisations become truly data-led
- Join a data team in its mission to getting data knowledge and skills out of silos and embedded into delivery teams
- Implement efficient data pipelines and storage
- Assist in the building of data platforms to enable predictive government services

**As a Junior Data Engineer we need you to have**:

- Knowledge of data pipelines using native tooling in the public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) or the Apache stack
- Experience building or improving data architectures or modern data platforms
- Programming experience in SQL, Python or Java
- Experience with data storage technologies such as data lakes, data warehouses and traditional SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience in Apache Spark, Databricks or Hadoop
- Must be able to clear SC security

**As a Junior Data Engineer you will receive**:

- Base salary of £45,000 - £65,000
- Private health care
- Pension 14% (7% company contribution)
