We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to undertake a Static Technical Instructor post within the Medical & Surgical Division, working with the Urgent Care Therapy Team at University Hospitals of North Midlands. The role would be based in the Emergency Department and Emergency Care Units at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The post offers the opportunity to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, alongside a large and supportive team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Technical Instructors.

Therapy Services work within a 7 day shift system therefore there is a requirement to work weekends and bank holidays. The shift pattern for the role will be 3x 11.5 hour shifts per week, working 08:00 - 20:00.

Supervision will be provided by the Senior Technical Instructors plus Band 5/6/7 Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, and personal development is supported through appraisal and internal and external training.

The Therapies Department comprises of two multidisciplinary based teams, the Medical & Surgical Team and the Specialised Services Team, incorporating both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. These teams form part of the Trust Medical, Surgical and Specialised Services Divisions.
