ARCA is exclusively partnered with a engineering scale-up company that specialises in cutting edge motion simulators for the F1 and motorsport industries.

We are looking to hire a new Global Head of Sales to lead a highly succesful commercial sales team to help driver sales growth and implement a global strategy to expand market share and increase sales revenue.

**Accountabilities**:

- Sales margin, ensuring profitability targets are met or exceeded through effective pricing strategies, cost management, and value optimization.
- Customer retention, developing and executing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term relationships.
- Development and maintenance of an accurate order intake forecast, providing reliable projections for sales planning and resource allocation - including channels, direct sales and services. Develop the annual Sales Budget and Forecast including marketing costs.
- Controlling the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize Roi and achieve business objectives.
- Driving channel partner sales and referrals, fostering strong relationships and collaboration to generate sales growth and expand market coverage.
- Market coverage, whether through direct sales or via partners, ensuring comprehensive market penetration and reaching target customer segments.
- Owning and managing the opportunity sales dashboard, providing accurate and up-to-date insights into the sales pipeline, conversion rates, and sales performance.
- Maintaining a focus on motorsport and/or automotive sectors, staying abreast of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive targeted sales strategies.
- Developing and implementing a training plan for the reporting team, ensuring continuous improvement of skills, knowledge, and performance.
- Providing routine and regular support and guidance to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment to maximize individual and team success.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, engineering, or a related field
- A consummate negotiator, proven in selling value in use of high value high technology systems
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the engineering industry, ideally in motion simulator technologies. Understanding the market dynamics, trends, and competitors in the field will enable effective sales strategies and decision-making.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, the ability to inspire and motivate teams, and a track record of building high-performing sales teams are important qualifications.
- Strategic Thinking: The role requires strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute sales plans aligned with the overall business goals. A strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape is crucial for devising effective sales strategies.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential to effectively communicate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. The ability to negotiate and close deals at a high level is also important for success in this role.
- International Experience: Global sales experience and familiarity with working in diverse cultural environments will be advantageous as the role involves managing sales operations across different regions.
- Analytical and Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive sales performance and make informed decisions are valuable qualifications for a Global Head of Sales. Proficiency in sales analytics tools and CRM systems is often required.
- Customer Focus: The ability to understand customer needs, build strong customer relationships, and provide excellent customer service is essential. The Global Head of Sales should have a customer-centric approach and the ability to align sales strategies with customer requirements.
