**The Exams Officer is responsible for**:

- Ensuring the centre’s compliance with all Awarding Organisation regulations.
- Work in line with company standards and training guidelines and manuals.
- Complete exams schedules for internal and external exams in line with key dates and deadlines.
- Book exam space, invigilators and other resources for exam seasons in line with key dates and deadlines.
- Liaise with Centre Manager to discuss deadlines and other exam related issues.
- Process post results enquires and communicating this to customers/parents in line with key dates and deadlines.
- Ensure all aspects of the conduct of both public and internal examinations as per Awarding Organisation.
- Update the Centre Manager with exams schedules, ensuring the centre systems remain up to date and accurate.
- Process and issue examination results in line with Awarding Organisation requirements and centre policies and procedures in line with key dates and deadlines.
- Ensure the SEN team have the information required to organise access arrangements for all students who have special education needs for exams
- Keep up to date records and procedures for The JCQ and other Awarding Organisation onsite inspections.
- Assist all other members of the team with overflow work when required.
- Attend open days as required - may require some travel
- Attend relevant meetings and training sessions - may require some travel to another centre for this

**Working hours**:
8:30 - 4:30 Mon - Fri (times may vary during exam seasons) some flexibility would be good.

**Attributes desired but not essential**:

- A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and MIS systems is highly desirable.
- Previous exam experience would be highly desirable but not essential
- Have the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Multi tasking
- Good communication and interpersonal skills - ability to work in a team and independently
- Smart appearance
- Ability to adapt quickly to different situations
- Knowledge or understanding of education systems

**Start Date**:As soon as possible.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
