**JOB TITLE**: Event Assistant

**REPORTS TO**: Front of House Manager

**WORKING HOURS**:37.5 hours per week

**PLACE OF WORK**: Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol, BS3 2EJ. Travel to other locations may be required

**CONTRACT**: Permanent

Ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown's sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities.

**JOB PURPOSE**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (KPIs)**
- Work closely with the Venue Sales Team to drive revenue by upselling and cross selling for each event, maximising all F&B opportunities
- Ensure the highest quality of service is delivered for each and everyevent by all event staff
- Ensure all events are planned, coordinated and executed to the highest standard, which exceed the client’s expectations, encouraging repeat business.
- Ensure delivery and set up of all events to 5-star standards
- Prioritize departmental tasks and complete to all Ashton gate SOP and guidelines
- Ensure 5-star Health and safety standards are met in all duties

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS**
- Strong Waiting and Bar Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clients, and venue staff with the necessary confidence and calm assurance when under pressure
- A great organizer with ability to work to deadlines, and have a keen eye for detail
- Flexible to working extra hours, including evenings and weekends
