To be CWP’s lead data modeller working in support of the role out of MAST (Management and Supervision Tool) and other Trust initiatives. Working closely with Clinical and Support Services to design, develop and support data structures, data flows and enable the design and build of technological reporting solutions and visualisations.

Using enhanced technical skills to model data enabling the development of clinical and corporate reporting dashboards, to present data as business information that will assist Clinical services in making strategic decisions, and help service managers to manage their services effectively based on the activity recorded in the Trust’s clinical and non-clinical based systems which is processed by the data warehouse.

**This Post is Fixed term**: 12 months

Lead the technical design and development of data modelling solutions in support of role out of Management and Supervision Tool and other Trust initiatives, work with wider BI team to ensure that the models are interpreted correctly and built using the most appropriate data sources to reflect business requirements.

Enable the development of clinical and corporate reporting dashboards, to present data as business information that will assist managers in making strategic decisions, and help service managers to manage their services effectively based on the activity reported in the Trust’s clinical and non-clinical based systems that is processed by the data warehouse.

Liaise with system expert users to gain understanding of system data and understand best and most appropriate method of data extraction

Liaise with system expert users to understand and agree business rules appropriate for specific solutions.

Create and maintain technical specifications, including source to target mappings, in support of developments which can be interpreted by Data Warehouse developer or 3 rd party supplier.

Create and maintain reference data where required utilising process control and master data management principles across current system configurations and future developments

Work with BI team and manage the effective roll-out of reporting visualisations and solutions working within CWP’s standard hardware/software offering
