Structural Steel Designer, Strabane

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng, 2:1 or above);
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Structural Designer/Engineer
- Ambition to work towards Chartered status.
- Experience in structural steel designing.
- Strong knowledge of Tekla or similar.

- Excellent mathematical, IT and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage projects and workload within tight deadlines.
- A good working knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations is important.

**Duties**
- Preparing designs and drawings.
- Making calculations about loads and stresses.
- Selecting appropriate construction materials.
- Providing technical advice.
- Obtaining planning and/or building regulations approval.
- Liaising with colleagues to deliver projects.
- Monitoring and inspecting work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 3 years (required)
