Blind/Shutter Installer

Salary - £10.80 per hour with a view to increase depending on experience and completing probational period.

The Norfolk Shutter Company & Bourne Blinds & Flooring are one of East Anglia’s leading manufacturers and retailer/installer of high quality shutters, blinds, awnings and pergolas. We are recruiting a blind, shutter & pergola installer to join our fast pace and growing business.

We are a family run business of over 46 years, based in a rural location in Marshland St James, and pride ourselves on our good reputation and excellent customer service.

Previous experience in the blind, shutter fitting/manufacturing industry would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. Background in carpentry would be ideal.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- visiting customers and installing all products to a high standard
- cross train in all areas within the workplace to gain excellent knowledge

**Skills and Essential Criteria**
- Practical competent hands on person with good diy skills, experience of using hand tools and comfortable working at heights,
- Confident, with good communication skills and excellent customer service
- Excellent track record of timekeeping and attendance
- Confident with numbers and measurements including imperial and metric
- A good level of physical fitness
- Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK and valid identification
- Driving licence must be full, current and clean
- DBS checks will be completed
- CSCS card required but not essential

Holiday - 28 days including bank hi pro Tara

Hours - Hours 8.30-4.30 with half hour lunch (but hours negotiable) Monday-Friday - days negotiable
