Can you help the WBS CareersPlus team provide a first-class front-line administration service to our students, alumni and corporate relations partners?

You will be working within a small committed administration team to provide support across the whole spectrum of the CareersPlus and External Relations department. You will help organise and promote our face-to-face and online skill development activities, career coaching for our students, and our recruiter and alumni events. The role will require liaison with a wide range of contacts at all levels within WBS, the wider university and our external suppliers and partners, as well as our students and alumni. In addition, you should be able to work on your own initiative to see projects through to successful completion and to provide individual advice and guidance to signpost queries appropriately.

Please note that whilst this role is based on the University of Warwick campus, there may be occasional evening and weekend working with prior notice and some events will necessitate travel to the Shard campus in London.

**Job Purpose**

To deliver a high-quality administration service across the whole spectrum of the CareersPlus portfolio. Supporting the organisation and management of both 1:1 and group-based career management and professional skill development activities provided to our students and alumni to underpin their academic learning and enhance employability. This could include the WBS Mentoring programme and both UK and global alumni engagement activities.
Acting as a first point of contact for students, global recruiters, corporate partners and alumni in their engagement with the CareersPlus team and project management of departmental activities.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Coordinate planning, timetabling, advertising and promotion of CareersPlus career and professional development workshops and webinars for WBS students and alumni, including all associated correspondence with external workshop suppliers and coaches.
- Schedule prospective student recruitment and admissions interviews for Careers Managers.
- Coordinate any required Open Day or other recruitment activities on behalf of the department.
- Act as first point of contact to respond to careers, employer relations and alumni enquiries, ensuring that WBS students and alumni receive a proactive and professional careers experience.
- Provide administrative support, systems support and data management of careers metrics across the full spectrum of WBS student caseload of Undergraduate, Masters and MBA students.
- Undertake relevant finance related administration, including monitoring the CareersPlus and External Relations budgets of approximately £500k, liaising with external suppliers and raising purchase requisitions for approval.
- Project management as required to support the work of the CareersPlus team which could include for example:

- Coordinating the compilation of students’ profiles and photographs for production and dissemination of WBS Talent Profile books.
- Providing assistance with collection of student destination data for external rankings.
- Logistical management for new curriculum initiatives and service provision undertaken by the CareersPlus team.
- Administrative support to the WBS Alumni team as required.
