**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Education Tutor and Core Programme Coordinator to join our team. As an Education Tutor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students in their academic journey, providing personalised instructions and guidance. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality tutoring services to students of various ages and educational backgrounds. This part-time position offers flexible working hours and requires a passion for education and a strong commitment to student success.

**Education Background**

Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with students in an educational capacity is highly desirable.

**The Role of the Tutor**
- Offer personalised tutoring sessions to students, tailoring instructions to their specific learning needs, goals and curriculum requirements.
- Prepare engaging and structured lesson plans based on the students’ academic level and objectives, incorporating appropriate teaching methods and materials.
- Regularly evaluate students' progress and learning outcomes through various assessment methods, such as quizzes, tests, or assignments, and provide constructive feedback.
- Employ diverse teaching techniques and adapt your approach to meet the unique learning styles of individual students, ensuring optimal comprehension and retention.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and punctuality.
- Provide reports on Scholar Progress.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Report to Head of Education detailing students’ progress and achievements.
- Assist students in developing effective study habits, time management skills, and organisation techniques, empowering them to become independent learners.
- Ensure all tracking and monitoring of scholar progress is updated regularly and accurately as required by the Premier League.
- Ensure all learners are given the best learning experience.

**CPC Role**

The Core Programme Coordinator (CPC) will play a key role in the coordination and learning provision of the Level 3 Sporting Excellence Professional Apprenticeship in line with our provider, The Premier League, by:

- Co-ordinating the planning, delivery and progress tracking for the Apprenticeship Programme in the PDP Phase.
- Providing regular formative and summative feedback to all scholars in line with the Apprenticeship Standard and Specification for high quality End Point Assessment (EPA) preparation.
- Supporting scholars with excellent levels of knowledge, skills and behaviours that prepare them successfully for each EPA Component (Knowledge Test, Practical Observation and EPA Interview).
- Ensuring that all quarterly Apprenticeship Reviews are completed by relevant MDT staff and provide scholars with high quality feedback that impacts evidential progress.
- Regularly updating Scholar Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) as required by the Premier League.
- Fulfilling all quality assurance requirements to an excellent standard as required by the Premier League.
- Participate in formal and informal lesson observation processes as required by the club and Premier League.
